Karla is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been born and raised in West Michigan. Her passion for people and growth started while studying journalism and art at Central Michigan University as an undergraduate. She followed this passion to GRTS of Cornerstone, where she earned a M.A. in counseling with an interdisciplinary focus.
Adults, Young Adults, and Adolescents are all individuals with whom Karla truly enjoys to work. Believing in the transformation that comes with the renewing of the mind, she uses therapy that focuses on our thoughts and actions to change the way that we feel. Karla has experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, social anxiety, negative self-image, boundaries, and relational problems. For those who desire a scriptural basis of counseling, Karla also has a passion for restoring freedom and hope through scripture, challenging the thought process that hold us captive.
