Adam grew up and has lived in West Michigan his whole life. He graduated from Cornerstone University with a bachelor’s degree in Bible and went on to get his Masters in Counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. Adam has spent the past seven years working in churches as a technical director where he trained volunteers and helped create healthy teams.
Adam has a heart for discipling and sees counseling as discipleship at its core. People were made to grow and heal in community and not on our own. Counseling can provide one of these heathy and healing relationships. Adam specializes in helping people learn how to deal with anxiety and heal from depression. Adam believes that counseling can do more than just help our mental health, it can help with our physical health as well.
Adam and his wife Stephanie enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking and just being outdoors. On weekends, you can find them taking their dog for hikes or kayaking trips. Adam’s favorite way to decompress and relax is to go out fishing. If he is not working or spending time with his wife, there is a good chance you can find him out on the water.
