Amy Varnado, LMSW
Amy is an experienced social worker, in practice since 1992. She obtained a BSW from Calvin College in Grand Rapids and an MSW from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Her hope is that anyone with questions or struggles might come to find peace and clarity through the counseling process.
Amy has had the privilege of seeing people make positive strides through some of their most difficult quandaries and believes that a holistic approach (body, mind and spirit) is critical to the process.
Amy holds a Christian world view, especially from the Reformed perspective but accepts clients at any point along their spiritual journey.
She specializes in understanding mental health diagnoses and has over 20 years experience working with people who experience mental illness, chronic physical illness, terminal illness, grief and loss and trauma.
