Mark Olsen, MA, LLPC
Mark has always been passionate about coming alongside people in all walks of life. Coming from 20+ years in pastoral ministries, his shepherding heart is a strong suit in guiding clients in their journey towards healing and freedom.
Mark has his MA in Pastoral Counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family and a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Liberty University.
Utilizing a hybrid approach of narrative therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, Mark is able to assist clients in understanding and processing more of their own story, which empowers individuals to move in a trajectory towards healing and growth. Everyone has a story, and that story is sacred. With the permission of his clients, Mark integrates a biblical worldview into the counseling sessions to discover God’s unique purpose for each individual.
Mark welcomes clients ages 12 and up. He works with individuals as well as couples (including crisis and pre-marital counseling). His areas of focus include grief, depression and anxiety, couples work, and more.
Outside of work, you’d likely find Mark hanging out with his family or running/cycling the streets and trails of the area.
