Sara retired to Spring Lake in 2015 and is active in various church and community related activities. Sara has an extensive background in community mental health including inpatient psychiatric hospitals and outpatient services.
Sara is a warm, caring and compassionate person with strong skills in understanding how our feelings drive our behavior and actions. She has been a Christian since she was 13. Her faith helps define how she works with clients and treats people in general. Achieving balance in life has always been a goal in her practice. Sara loves the quote, "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are".
Sara was in private practice for over 20 years specializing in individual and marital therapy. She holds a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and she is certified social worker from NASW (National Association of Social Workers).
